Cheese Tree Timber Veneer

Cheese Tree Timber Veneer – Cheese Tree (Glochidion ferdinandi) is found from northern and inland Queensland down to south–eastern New South Wales, Australia growing in rainforests and humid eucalypt forests.  It usually grows as a woody shrub to a small tree of 8m but can sometimes grow up to 30m. Cheese Tree timber veneer has lovely earthy tones and is golden brown to red in colour, sometimes with figure.

The Cheese Tree got its name from its fruit which resembles small cheese wheels.  It is also known as water gum, button wood and pencil cedar.
