Coastal Banksia Timber Veneer

Coastal Banksia Timber Veneer – Coastal Banksia (Banksia intergrifolia) is a medium sized tree growing to a height of 25m.  It is found along the east coast of Australia from Victoria to central Queensland.  It grows in a broad range of habitats from coastal dunes to mountains.  The heartwood of the Coastal Banksia timber veneer is pinkish to red in colour.  It has an interesting grain pattern.

The Coastal Banksia tree usually has a single stout trunk, which is often twisted and gnarled.

It is also known as Honeysuckle, White Banksia, White Bottlebrush and White Honeysuckle.
