Hoop Pine Timber Veneer

Hoop Pine Timber Veneer – Hoop pine (Araucaria cunninghamii) is a native Australian species.  It is found in dry rainforests in Queensland and New South Wales. The trees can live up to 450 years and they can grow to a height of around 60m tall and almost 1.8m in diameter.  The timber colour is generally whitish or a light coloured cream to pale yellow.  Hoop Pine grain is straight and the texture is fine to very fine.

Hoop Pine timber veneer is easy to work.

It is also known as Colonial Pine, Queensland Pine, Dorrigo Pine, Moreton Bay Pine and Richmond River Pine.
