Red Gum Timber Veneer

Red Gum Timber Veneer – Red Gum (Eucalyptus camaldulensis) is unique to the Australian Bush and is commonly found along many watercourses across inland Australia.  It can grow up to 45m in height.  Red Gum is named for its brilliant red wood, with the heartwood ranging in colour from a light pink through to almost black.  This is dependent on the age and weather of the timber.  The grain is commonly interlocked with frequent gum veins. Red Gum timber veneer is often best showcased in furniture; the spectacular deep red colour and the typical fiddle-back figure of red gum timber make each piece of furniture unique.

It is also known as River Red Gum and Murray River Gum.
