Spotted Gum Timber Veneer
Spotted Gum Timber Veneer – Spotted Gum (Eucalyptus maculata) is the common name for four species which grow along the east coast of Australia. The trees can grow up to 50 metres in height and up to 1.4 metres in diameter.
With heartwood colour ranging from light brown through to dark red-brown hues. Its sapwood is usually white to light brown in colour. The grain can be straight, interlocked or wavy. Wavy grain can produce an attractive fiddleback figure.
Spotted Gum timber veneer is used in the manufacture of both indoor and outdoor furniture.
