Zebrano Timber Veneer

Zebrano Timber Veneer – Zebrano (Microberlinia brazzavillensis) is found in West Africa. The tree grows to approximately 50 metres tall with a trunk diameter of up to 1.5 metres.

The heartwood background is coloured a very light to golden-brown.  It has narrow, regular and parallel veining of dark brown or almost-black.  This produces a zebra-striped appearance.

Its grain is interlocked or wavy.  Its texture is coarse with a lustrous surface.

A striking timber veneer, it is often used as a decorative inlay in furniture or cabinetry.  Many years ago it was commonly used on car dashboards. Use Zebrano timber veneer on your project to make a real statement!
